MacNab Modern Lightweight Tartan is a bright orange-based tartan with shades of green and purple. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.
In Gaelic the MacNabs are called Clan-an-aba, meaning "Children of the Abbot". They claim to be descended from the Abbot of Glendochart and held lands at Loch Tay. These lands were forfeited during opposition to King Robert the Bruce.
