Royal Canadian Airforce Heavyweight Tartan is a light blue-based tartan with pink and black checks. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects.
This tartan was created in the early 1940s by Group Captain Elmer Fullerton. Based on the Anderson tartan and the RCAF colours the Royal Canadian Airforce tartan links land and community between Scotland and Canada through the symbolic use of colour.
